BATCH RENDER

DOCUMENTATION

Store all render settings from the Render Properties and Output Properties into render presets that can be individually used by any variant at render time.
When selecting a preset from the list of created presets, some data may be changing in Render Properties and Output Properties but not all.
This is normal behavior as the data used for render are the ones stored in the presets and shown in the preset’s summary.

PRESETS LIST

ADD NEW

Creates new render preset with current settings from RENDER PROPERTIES and OUTPUT PROPERTIES panels. By default, newly created presets are listed as follow:
- Preset 1
- Preset 2
- Preset 3

UPDATE PRESET

Recaptures selected preset with the current render data from RENDER PROPERTIES and OUTPUT PROPERTIES panels.

RENAME PRESET

Rename presets anytime by double-clicking on the preset’s name in the lister. If a preset is already assigned to a variant, the new name will be updated in the variant’s panel too.

DELETE PRESET

Removes preset from the lister.

Each preset stores ALL render properties and their individual value. For fast setup, a selection of popular render data stored in the selected preset are listed under the render Presets List.
Some properties are Engine-specific and will change depending on if you are using EEVEE, CYCLES or WORKBENCH.

PRESETS ACTIONS

EXPORT PRESET(S)

Render Presets can be exported (in JSON files) and be retrieved in other *.Blend files, in several ways:

ACTIVE: Exports the highlighted render preset only.
SELECTED: Exports the checked render presets only.
ALL: Exports all the render presets from the list.

ASSIGN LINKED

Re-assign highlighted render preset to all the variants that were already using it. This makes sure the preset is assigned for Batch Rendering.

IMPORT PRESET(S)

Render Presets previously exported with the add-on from other *.Blend files projects can be imported and assigned to your variants.

ASSIGN ALL

Assigns highlighted render preset to all existing variant in your variant list. Once assigned, the render preset will be displayed in the Preset Lister of each variant and will be the one used by each variant during Batch Rendering.

Variants can be rendered automatically one after the other in one click with their assigned Render Preset and Assigned Camera. (Optionally, with their Virtual Cameras, if any)
Variants can be added to Batch Render by clicking on "Add to Batch Render" from the variant's group header or from the variant's header itself. Then "Selected Only" will only render these variants. If no variant is added to Batch Render and "Selected Only" is ON, Batch Render is not available. If "OFF" and no variants are manually defined for batch render, all variants will be rendered.
